絹糸工場から出る絹のゴミに熱をかけることにより、もともと絹の素材に含まれているセリシンというタンパク質を溶かし、繊維をシート状に繋げていった。それは絹という素材が、かつて生命であった時の記憶を一つ一つ手作業により呼び起こすような作業である。虫のはきだした透き通った糸は、重なり合い、光と影を生み出し、大きな流れを作り出す。

By applying heat to the silk dust from the silk factory, a protein called sericin, which was originally contained in the silk material, was melted and the fibers were connected in a sheet shape. The material of silk is a work that manually evokes the memories of the time when it was once a life. The transparent threads of the insects overlap, creating light and shadow, creating a large stream.
